Ingredients of Doi or Dahi Malpua
- Prepare 500 gms of sweet yoghurt or dahi.
- Prepare 150 gms of maida.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of fennel seeds.
- You need 6-7 Tbsp of sugar.
- You need 2 cups of water.
- It's 8-10 Tbsp of canola oil to fry the Malpua.
Doi or Dahi Malpua instructions
- In a bowl beat the Dahi or yoghurt very well.
- Add water in a bowl and boil. Once boiling add sugar and stir to dissolve to make sugar syrup. Set aside.
- In a bowl add Maida and add 1 Tbsp oil and mix well so that there is no lumps.
- Add 1 Tbsp at a time the Maida mix to the beaten yoghurt and stir very well.
- Add fennel seeds once all Maida is added to the yoghurt.
- Now take one ladle and pour into the wok where oil is heated.
- Pour the fried Malpua to the sugar syrup and keep for couple of mins until the syrup gets inside the Malpua. Set aside.
- Ready to enjoy the Malpua.
