- Marinate prawn with salt and turmeric for atleast 15 mins..
- Skin out and clean the yam,then grate the yam and keep aside.
- Now take a steel box or any other box for steam. Put half banana leaf layer on box, followed by yam and then prawn..
- Next put onion, green chillies..
- On top put mustard paste and mustard oil, salt..
- Cover it with another half banana leaf and closed the box with lid. Now steam it medium flame for 15 mins either inside pressure cooker or any others way..
- After 15 mins open the lid and remove the banana leaf and give a nice stir to everything mix softly..
- Serve hot with steam rice..
