- Prepare 4 Cups of spinach Finely chopped.
- It's 1/4 Cup of Green gram.
- You need 1/2 Cup of Coconutgrated.
- It's 1/2 Teaspoon of Chilly Powder.
- You need 1/2 Pinch of Turmeric.
- You need 1/4 Teaspoon of Jeera.
- It's 3 pods of Garlic.
- Prepare To Taste of Salt.

- Soak green gram in 1 cup of water for half an hour and cook till soft..
- Cook finely chopped spinach separately till soft after adding little water (take care not to add too much water or it will turn soggy)..
- Now mix together the cooked green gram and spinach and add salt to taste.
- Grind coarsely the ingredients 3 to 7 and add to the above mix.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add a broken red chilly and splutter the mustard seeds..
- After spluttering the mustard seeds add the whole spinach green gram mix into the pan and mix well in low flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Use a flat spatula to stir so that it doesn't turn soggy..
